Quote for the day

"The distance doesn't matter. Only the first step is difficult." -Marquise du Deffand

How true is this quote, yet many of us don't even realize it or are completely oblvious to it. In my personal opinion one must not focus on how long or bad the journey may be, but on the end resultant and that you WILL get there. For ex. say it is your goal to get a 4.0 G.P.A. in High School. Instead of worrying about how much studying you will have to get accomplished throughout the year, focus more on you taking that first step to identifying your goals and committing yourself to it, and by you already doing this you've already begun step 1 of X. In a later post I will talk about why it is we don't consciously or unconciously begin that first crucial step. Until then I wish all of you best of luck in your endeavors!

I agree. Many people are in a state of fear or denial that holds them back from ever doing or getting something done. If only we all had the courage to dive into the sea and make something happen..
